The Evolution Of Inner
Temple Traditions InnerConvocation Teachers and Workshops
The Inner Temple Traditions IinnerConvocation
is a line of teaching created and mediated by R J Stewart,
and its material is found in many of his books, workshops,
and classes, from the 1980’s (with UnderWorld Initiation
and the two Living Magical Arts books) to 2005,
(with The Well of Light and The Cord of Spirit).
A total of 41 books have been published and translated internationally,
covering a comprehensive range of western tradition spiritual
and magical arts and methods. The Inner Temple Traditions
InnerConvocation series runs in parallel with RJ’s UnderWorld,
Faery, and Merlin tradition books and classes, and there are
many connections between these two streams of spiritual, magical,
and educational work.
Students sometimes advise us that people
now copy the Inner Temple Traditions InnerConvocation material,
under slight variants of the name, essentially copying the
early basic classes which were widely circulated in printed
form (written by RJ) and taught to many. If you think something
looks or sounds like a clone of RJ’s work, it probably
is. No one can claim to own the Inner Temples, but each person
is responsible for his or her own original writings, and most
of all, for maintaining honesty and integrity. To help clarify
this matter, here is a list of some of the teachers that have
been trained and are currently authorized by R J Stewart to
teach Inner Temple Traditions InnerConvocation and related
classes. These teachers have maintained an ongoing working
relationship with R J and with one another, some for as much
as 17 years, and they have attended advanced study courses
between year 2000 and 2005, with private training sessions
or Inner Temple Traditions InnerConvocation retreats, between
2000 and 2005.

Merlin, Underworld, and Faery
Tradition Teachers
Some of these teachers are also authorized
and trained to teach UnderWorld, Faery, and Merlin Tradition
classes, based on the work of R J Stewart. If you see someone
advertising classes that look as if derive from R J’s
books and workshops on the UnderWorld/Faery traditions, or
from his Merlin Tradition classes and books, you can (at least)
tell from this list if they are an approved teacher. Once
again, no one can own Merlin, or the Faery traditions, but
the unique approach and individual material found in the series
of books and classes by R J Stewart has been copied by others,
often with minute changes, and sometimes verbatim. In some
ways this is inevitable as the books and material are widely
circulated. Strictly speaking it is illegal, and is, most
certainly, unethical.
All of the approved authorized teachers listed
above have done at least 10 years of work with R J Stewart,
some as much as 17 years, and have taken further classes not
available to the public and not published. They also take
part in a private ongoing training program with R J, to enable
new material to be widely available.
From this deep resource of experience and
spiritual and magical commitment, you can be sure that any
classes that you attend will be genuine, and that they will
lead to eligibility for further advanced classes with R J
Stewart and other advanced teachers of the Inner Temple and
UnderWorld traditions who have trained with him.
