Priests
and Priestesses and Inner Temple Traditions InnerConvocation
program with R J Stewart
This intensive training in spiritual
disciplines was started by R J Stewart in England, in
the 1980’s, where there are several long standing
groups with whom he maintains contact. The training
includes original techniques for meditation and vision,
ceremony and spiritual mediation, developed by R J Stewart,
and leads to deepening contact with the Inner Temples
in the spiritual dimensions. Much of the original and
foundational material for this work is found in his
books Living Magical Arts, and Advanced
Magical Arts published in the mid 1980’s,
shortly to be republished by Thoth Publications (UK).
Further material is found in the Workshop Descriptions.
From 1988 R J brought the Priests
and Priestesses training to the USA: the original groups
in New York, Boston, and Maryland, have been working
with this material for seventeen years. On the west
coast groups in Santa Cruz, Berkeley, and Seattle have
been working for ten years or more, with Seattle established
in 1990.
The Inner Temple Traditions InnerConvocation
program leads to a consecration ceremony, which greatly
enhances the spiritual perceptions and opens our contact
with the inner temples. R J has been consecrating students
in the UK and USA from the mid-1980’s to the present
day. He received the consecration from his teacher,
the late W G Gray, a famous Kabbalist and author, in
England, in 1970.
There are regular groups meeting in
various parts of the USA, usually on a monthly basis.
These help new students integrate into the main program,
by teaching many of the basic techniques developed for
the Inner Temples work. The local groups usually have
one or more teachers trained by R J Stewart to help
with the arts of visualisation, meditation, mediation,
and the detailed Inner Temple Traditions InnerConvocation
visions, contacts, and spiritual skills.

The
Inner Temple Traditions InnerConvocation Introduction
Discover how the Four Temples of the
Inner Convocation relate to individual consciousness
and planetary changes. Inner Temple Traditions InnerConvocation
is a series of classes taught by R J Stewart from 1988
to the present day, and integrates many of the themes
in his books and other workshops.
During this workshop we will experience
spiritual communion with the Four Inner Temples of Instruction
and Inspiration, Initiation and Ilumination, Giving
and Receiving, and Destruction and Regenaration. All
group members will receive spiritual entry into the
Inner Convocation of timeless priestesses and priests,
where the Pillar of Light radiates at the heart of all
creation.
This form of spiritual initiation was
taught to R J by his mentors W G Gray and Ronald Heaver,
who were both major figures and spiritual adepts in
the Western Tradition in the 20th century, and RJ has
developed it in his books and classes over the last
30 years.

The
Inner Temple Traditions InnerConvocation
New workshop series for 2006
This new workshop is part of the ongoing
Inner Temple Traditions InnerConvocation series developed
by R J Stewart and taught from 1989 to the present day.
In this new class, we focus on bringing the power of
the Inner Temples through the body, especially through
the hands, and transferring it to the outer world. This
is one of the essential spiritual arts of mediation,
seldom taught in contemporary practice.
By attuning to the Four Temples and
the Inner Convocation, we can discover how to mediate
very specific subtle energies through our bodies (not
from within them) and to outlet these through the hands.
For this method of working we do not use our individual
energy or life forces, but mediate attuned spiritual
qualities and consciousness that originate in the Four
Temples and the Inner Convocation. An essential aspect
of this practical workshop will be recognizing these
energies, and being attuned to them in a way that can
be repeated successfully in your own individual spiritual
work. The methods taught in this two day intensive are
unique and have not been presented before. Themes will
include:

The movement and power of the
astral imprint, working through the body. The astral
imprint is shown in our natal chart in general astrology,
but can also be revealed in other ways, through
working with the Inner Temples. It is this second
method that we will explore and open out during
the workshop. The astral imprint empowers us in
remarkable ways once we are more full aware of its
pattern.

Experiencing the timeless lineage
of the Inner Convocation and the Sanctuary. This
session opens and deepens our connection to the
inner priestesses and priests, with special emphasis
on lineage and continuity beyond time.

The Wind from the Void. This
session enables an inner sense of the life spirit
that flows from the void into creation and manifestation.
In the workshop, we will each feel this power flow
through us, as a result of attuning to the inner
temples that stand before the Void.

Linking the power of the Inner
Temples through the sub-Lunar realm to manifest
on Earth. This last session deals with bringing
spiritual forces through into Nature… working
with the sub-lunar realm that is the source of all
manifest patterns. Successful spiritual magic cannot
be achieved without an understanding of the sub-lunar
realm.
This is the first of a new series of
workshops, and leads to further advanced classes on
the topics listed above.
Consecration Ceremony: At most locations
there will be a Consecration Ceremony on Sunday for
those who are eligible, or for those who wish to renew
their original consecration at a new level.

Priests
and Priestesses: A Three Part Program
This is our main on-going work, and
regular workshops and classes are held in many parts
of the USA. After completing the three-fold initial
training (described below), members are eligible to
join advanced workshops and meetings.

and Priestesses 1
Opening Out Our Inner
Awareness And Abilities
Everyone is potentially a priest or
priestess, which simply means mediating or reflecting
universal being to one another. During this workshop
we will explore and experience ways in which men and
women may attune to their inherent abilities to be priests
and priestesses, through techniques handed down and
taught within the esoteric traditions. There is no dogma
involved, and themethods used are found in many forms
worldwide.
Orthodox religions often link priesthood
with power politics, particularly with the suppression
of the feminine, of the Goddess. The esoteric traditions,
however, have retained the sacredness of the feminine,
and work with men and women equally. Many of the techniques
in our workshops are new, while others are handed down
from the great temple cultures of the ancient world,
from folklore,and from specific teaching traditions
passed on underground through centuries of oppression.
The workshop is wide-ranging, and
much of it will develop out of the needs of the people
involved.
Specific topics are likely to be:
- Moving beyond daily personality and sexuality.
- Finding the god and goddess within.
- Relating to gods and goddess of various pantheons.
- Mediating or reflecting divinities and related
energies.
- Working with partners and groups.
- Typical difficulties or problems for modern individuals.
- The idea and power of ourselves and others as
timeless priests and
priestesses.
- Relating to the inner Mysteries, and the themes
of initiation and
consecration.
This is an intense practical workshop
involving meditation and mediation, vision, movement,
subtle energies, and altered states of consciousness.

Inner Temple Traditions
InnerConvocation
In the second phase of this three
part program, we move on to deeper and more specific
skills, inner contacts, and changes of consciousness
and energy.
This workshop includes:
- Working with the Convocation of Timeless Priests
and Priestesses, and increasing the experience of
the Flame of Being through inner work in vision
and meditation, and through approaching timelessness.
- Attuning to specific Inner Temples, developing
the skills to enter and leave them at will and learning
from individual and group contact with them.
- Attuning, empowering and consecrating talismans.
This is a powerful traditional technique for protection,
alignment, and strengthening inner contact. Please
bring a piece of jewelry for yourself only.
- Ensouling and awakening dedicated objects. This
is one aspect of the traditional art of attuning
the power of the gods and goddesses to consecrated
objects. These are not personal talismans, but dedicated
objects used in the work of the priest and priestess
for specific purposes. Please bring a suitable object
(one only) to work with.
For those who have done Priests
and Priestesses 1 OR at least one other fullweekend
workshop.

The Consecration
Workshop And Ceremony
After working with Priests and Priestesses
1 & 2, members may take the third workshop, which
includes a Consecration ceremony.
This is a traditional "laying
on of hands" initiation, in which subtle energies
and contacts are awakened in the individual. The result
is greatly heightened inner awareness, and a clear attunement
to the spiritual contacts of the Timeless Convocation,
a great stream of consciousness that includes many inner
Priests and Priestesses.
After the Consecration, members are
eligible to join advanced workshops, and ongoing small
groups.
To attend this workshop, members must
have done Priests And Priestesses 1 and 2 OR
at least one other workshop and Priests And Priestesses
2.

Purification,
Cleansing, and the Arch of Heaven Ceremony
Day 1 explores essential concepts and
methods of purification and cleansing in the home, the
workplace, and within yourself. Many people already
practicing spiritual and magical techniques repeatedly
allow unhealthy influences to intrude into their lives,
often without being aware of their presence, and thereby
suffering from debilitating effects. This creates a
classic cycle or loop, which locks the awareness and
energy into a repeated pattern until it is freed up.
In Day 1 of this workshop we discover how to sense such
influences, and how to free up from them in every day
life. Methods taught range from the mundane and manifest,
to the surprising and unexpected, and on to the subtle
and etheric. Especial emphasis is given to understanding
our interaction with the forces and occupants of the
sub-lunar world of consciousness and vital energy.
Day 2 focuses on the Arch of Heaven
Ceremony (first published in The UnderWorld
Initiation, 1985). This ceremony, received from
powerful inner contacts in the 1970’s, opens the
way for redemptive and transformative spiritual power
to reach directly into the outer world, by-passing intermediary
realms. Each group member will learn how to conduct
the Ceremony for his/herself, and we will explore the
ways in which it can be used. These ways include, but
are not limited to, attuning and protecting a meditational
or ritual space, removing unhealthy spiritual entities
that disturb sleep or pollute a location, liberating
trapped souls and echoes of individual personalities,
protecting children.
Cost: $200.00 for both days, or $120.00
for Saturday only, with full payment before the cut-off
date, sent in advance. There is no Sunday only attendance.

The
Sea Temple
The Inner Temple Traditions InnerConvocation
teaches techniques of inner transformation.
An open workshop, suitable for new
and experienced people. Exploring the power and presence
of The Sea Temple.
The Sea Temple is one of the major
inner sources of growth, change, and regeneration in
our world. In modern society there are no formal sea
temples, though they were widespread in ancestral cultures,
either as formal temples or as sacred places at the
sea shore. During the weekend we shall bridge betweenancestral
traditions of a great spiritual Temple, and the living
consciousness of the Ocean today.
The Sea Temple also reaches from the
greater oceans out beyond our planet, into the Stars.
Thus it is a stellar Temple, and a temple of spiritual
navigation.
The workshop will include meditation,
visionary experience, and ceremony. As part of the ongoing
Priests and Priestesses program, this event will build
inner contact between ourselves and the greater spiritual
beings who relate to us through the Sea Temple.
Through geomantic (UnderWorld, earth
magic) connections, this workshop will include working
with deep sources of planetary weather, and earthquake
and volcanic power. We shall explore these first as
mythic themes, then discover how to relate to them consciously
as modern individuals.

The
Fire Temple: Initiation and Illumination
The Inner Temple Traditions InnerConvocation
teaches techniques of inner transformation.
Ancient tradition tells us of the Fire
Temple which manifested in temple cultures of the past
(Egypt, Atlantis, Farsi,and many more). The eternal
Fire Temple holds the mystery of the inner spiritual
fire and light, a state of consciousness that many beings
can, and do, share, transcending time and space.
In our ongoing series of Priests and
Priestesses workshops with R J Stewart, open to new
and experienced people, we shall explore and commune
with the temple of the Inner Fire, situated in the South,
the realm of Light. This workshop brings us into direct
contact with the Inner Temple, which is both a state
of consciousness and a place beyond time.
The workshop will be wide ranging,
and themes will include:
What is the Fire Temple?
Ancient tradition often associates
the Fire Temple with ancestral cultures, the great temple-building
civilizations of the past. Spiritual traditions teach
that there is an Inner Temple of spiritual fire and
light, a state of consciousness that many beings can,
and do, share, transcending time and space.
What are the Inner Traditions?
Outer religion often turns into politics,
but inner spiritual traditions teach techniques of inner
knowledge, and of inner transformation. In addition
to
techniques, the Inner Temple Traditions hold open lines
or living streams of consciousness. As modern individuals
we can access these through our skills invision, meditation,
and ceremony.
How does this work for the future?
We shall explore the influence of the
Fire Temple on human development,
especially concerning the dawn of a new century. The
methods used are uniquely developed for the workshop,
and are not found in publication.

manifests through development of arts and sciences,
including the spiritual paths.

access through inner techniques...including specific
methods which will be taught, shared, and experienced
in this workshop.
Themes will include:
- Opening contact with the inner Temple in vision
and meditation.

The
Four Temples and the Pillar of Light
An Inner Temple Traditions InnerConvocation workshop
with R J Stewart
This new workshop is part of the ongoing
Inner Temples/Priests and Priestesses series taught
by R J Stewart from 1989 to the present date.
During our two day intensive we will
attune to the Four Temples of the sacred directions
of East, South, West, and North, and discover their
spiritual influence upon our changing world in the 21st
century, and their inner transformative potentials for
ourselves, for the future. The Four Temples are not
merely symbolic: they embody a spiritual continuum,
existing beyond time and beyond our individual lives,
on the deep threshold of consciousness, which is shared
by many beings who act as priests and priestesses to
all orders of life.
The Four Temples act as storehouses
for the wisdom of the past , and as sources of new teaching,
spiritual energy, and inner contact in meditation, vision,
and ritual.
The Pillar of Light is at the Center
of All, and is the source of the cosmos, of all being.
It extends to our planet Earth, passing inwards, from
the stars, and issues from the center of the Earth,
passing outwards, to Moon Sun and Stars.
All men and women are potentially priests
and priestesses of the living Spirit. Interaction with
the Four Temples and the Pillar Light enable us to realise
this potential, and to join in communion with the inner
convocations of Life, Light, Love, and Law.

Fifth Nameless Goddess
An intensive workshop with R J Stewart:

On Sunday R J will open out our spiritual
contact with specific, clearly defined and recognizable
Inner Contacts for the entire group. He will show how
to recognize them, commune with them, and how to continue
to work with them in your spiritual growth and transformation.
